Fitzwilliam Centre, Kristo Zorkin Group, Nanaimo

Fitzwilliam Centre is a heritage landmark built in 1910/11 in Nanaimo’s Old City Quarter. The building has gone through many uses but is still essentially used for the original purpose: Retail stores on the street level and apartments upstairs. The building went through a heritage restoration program in the 1980s that brought it back up to its original stately presence. This program won the City of Nanaimo's restoration award for 1995.

Six retail locations on the ground floor range from 450 sq. ft. to 1200 sq. ft.. Large character apartments are upstairs. Four are single-bedroom and two are two-bedroom units.
